This two piece from Jyväskylä / Finland formed in 2014. Guitarist Tom Brooke (ex-Khuda) moved to Finland from Leeds, UK in 2012, and soon met, and became friends with drummer Tuomas Kainulainen. They are a touring band, right now the band is again on a 5 week trip through europe. File under: Instrumental, Math Rock, Post Rock, Doom.

The story to this release is really nice: Our friends in NYOS crashed at our place late last year when they were on tour. Besides drinking lots of coffee and eating some cake, we also asked them if they'd be interested in seeing the lathe at our work: a Neumann VMS80 with a SP79 Console.

Since Tom is also a sound engineer and Tuomas working at a record shop: we thought they might be interested. And they were!

And since the two of us are totally into their band, we just asked them if they'd have some unreleased songs. So one thing lead to another and we "by accident" made a new record. 

The unreleased title song has a certain post-punk approach, which nicely adds to their absolutely unique style. The Flipside has a "live-in-the-studio"-version of one of their songs from last year's "nature" LP. 

So you see: we just had a nice day together and made some records. That was really something special for us. Hope you like it!

Leaving hurts and so it did. After two years of fun & games with Stuttgart‘s handsome devils BODEN, Veronika decided to leave for good and go ahead for studies in Vienna and found something on her own. FARCE take a less blackened direction than Boden did, but still transmits a moody spirit along with compressed fuzz pop and lots of experimental noise that ranges from relaxing to haunting to beautiful throughout. Listening to this record is both unsettling and fascinating and with a grasp for the hidden groove, FARCE is the perfect soundtrack for acute insomia and early morning listlessness. 

"Ich sehe im vorbeifahrenden Auto den Unfall mitvorbeifahren in Zeitlupe und rueckwaerts" is finally ready and will be released on January the 20th 2017 via Meta Matter Records.

Repress of NAEVUS - heavy burden - 2xLP

The repress of NAEVUS - heavy burden - 2xLP is now ready. Just around 4 months after the initial releasedate, we now have the repress ready to be shipped. The records are now on black vinyl, the rest of the packaging stays the same.

I'm so glad that we had the chance to release this record. And it looks like we may release a new NAEVUS record in 2017 again. I'm really looking forward to this new project.
