B.SON - 10 year anniversary - CD release

To the band's 10 year anniversary, Black Shape Of Nexus release a CD on december the 4th.

It's a compilation of material which was never before released on compact disc. Contains the two songs from the split LP w/ LAZARUS BLACKSTAR, the song from the CLONE Vol. IV Sampler, the track from the split LP w/ KODIAK and one more track from the same session, which was only released as download until now. A nice overview to the band's 10 year anniversary, all profits from this release will be donated. Out on WOLFBIKER RECORDS / META MATTER RECORDS, Release Date: 4th of December 2015.

UNDER THE PLEDGE OF SECRECY - "black hole mass evolution" - LP

There are some copies of the new UNDER THE PLEDGE OF SECRECY - "black hole mass evolution" - LP available from us. We have the baby-blue and white vinyl in stock. One of my bands (B.SON) played last week with them at their release show in Aachen. They were really amazing, and absolutely cool people too. If you're into Chaos-Core like CONVERGE or DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, I'm sure you will love them.

GOLDEN GORILLA & B.SON - live videos

Here's a live video from this year's TOWERS OF MADNESS - festival. It's a song from the GOLDEN GORILLA- s/t - LP, released in 2006. And i also have some news concerning the label: The band already recorded their side for the upcoming split LP with GHOST OF WEM. The latter have just begun recording their songs. We hope to finish the recordings in august.

And here's a part of a new B.SON song, which we played at this year's DRÄSCHFESCHD. It's a cover of an old metal song, and the proper studio recordings of the whole song will be released sometime on a tribute compilation on FUCKING-KILL-RECORDS. We finished the recordings of this song already, it was recorded at the same time as the upcoming Mini-LP for the label. We still have to do some vocal recording for some of the songs of the Mini-LP, and then do the mixing and mastering. Still: no need to hurry!

CLONE VOL. IV 2xLP - available

We have some CLONE VOL. IV Compilation 2xLPs available now.  This compilation comes with an embossed cover incl. stamped oval diecut, full colored 12" sized inlay and a 16-paged 9"-sized booklet. Vol. 4 is the final installment of the Clone - play slow.die fast compilation series. This volume contains 11 bands with 60 minutes. The following tracks are featured on this awesome compilation:

Upcoming releases for the second half of 2014

So, once again news from our small label. There are a few things planned for the second half of this year. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming projects!

We will release an LP by our friends TOOD. The band is partially based in Karlsruhe/Germany, partially in France and plays amazing Doom / Sludge. They don't use like so many other bands only genre-stereotypes which is really what makes them outstanding! The band will record in August here in Karlsruhe, and I am mega excited! Definitely planned is something in 12" format (LP or Mini LP) in an edition of 300 records.

Then... we'll also make a split LP of the re-animated Sludge-mosters GOLDEN GORILLA and GHOST OF WEM. Both bands will record in July. This record will be a split label release with PER KORO RECORDS from Bielefeld! I'm especially excited about the 3 unreleased GOLDEN GORILLA songs! Their show at this years Towers Of Madness festival was one of my highlights of the year! And GHOST OF WEM definitely had a change in their style over the last few years, but don't worry, all things will be crude and brutal as always! 

And also planned is a BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS Mini LP that will be released in co-opertaion by the band and META MATTER RECORDS. The recordings are here in full progress, but no need to hurry!!! The record will be released when we think it's time to release it. This one is guaranteed to contain one or another surprise! 

There are other projects in the pipeline, but these 3 things are the first to announce. Everything else when it's in progress.

Furthermore we just released the two 7"es of the CRUEL FRIENDS and SHINY BROWN a few weeks ago. We are really 100% satisfied with both records, and both were really fun when working on it. For that alone it has been worth all the effort in my opinion!

Also, I'm just trying to make most of our releases available as stream on our bandcamp page (https://metamatterrecords.bandcamp.com). Reason is one and only: the buyer should get the record also as download! DIAVOLO ROSSO, DARK THARR and SCHEISSEDIEBULLEN are already online! Hopefully the rest will follow soon.
